With reference to your despatch No. 254 of the 20th November last,

I have the honour to transmit for the signification of Her Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinance entitled: — "An Ordinance to amend the law as to Flogging, No. 5 of 1897."

2. The customary Report by the Attorney General is annexed.
